People Reveal All The Things They Think Should Be Common Sense But Apparently Aren't
It's difficult when someone doesn't understand what you want them to understand. It can feel like they're purposefully ignoring you, shunning your orders, or spitting on your wishes. However, sometimes it can all be attributed to the other party simply not having any common sense. We want them to comprehend, but it might just be a blank spot.
...Still annoying, though.
Reddit user, u/BadApple-13, wanted to know what people are sorely lacking when they asked:
Just Take The "L"
Admitting when you're wrong about something.
Everyone makes mistakes
It can be hard to do sometimes but it really is the best option.
Take Your Shoes Off. Seriously.Giphy
Not disrespecting someone's house when you are a guest
But I Read It Online?
Don't believe everything you read on the internet.
Take. All. Your Medicine.
Finish. Your. Antibiotics.
But I feel better already. I'll save the rest for when I get a cold /s
Water. AND Soap.
Wash your hands after using the restroom. As a restaurant employee, I can say im terrified how many customers don't do this.
I'll call out the guys to if they don't wash them, and they just shrug it off. That's why I grab handles with paper towels afterwards too.
You Are No One Else's Responsibility
Never borrow money unless you are certain you can pay it back.
And never lend money unless you can afford to give it away.
Just Write It Down
Knowing how much it costs to live each month and how much money you take in. Basically keeping a budget.
It's surprises me how many people don't have a grasp on this.
They Need Rest, Too
Don't bother an employee when they're clearly on break/lunch break/recently off the clock unless it's an emergency.
You're Not A CowGiphy
Eating with a closed mouth..
Maybe you have misophonia like me. Look it up. It indeed makes you wanna die
Check Yo' Finances
If you can't afford it, don't buy it.
Most people know this. What most people don't seem to know is that "afford" does not mean "able to come up with the money." It means "able to set aside the money while meeting all other current financial obligations including age-appropriate savings and retirement goals."
When in doubt.... be a Karen! LOL
We've all seen them and at times we may have been one A KAREN! You know who that is.... a difficult person, that's describing it politely. Karen's make scenes and do all that is necessary to get anything and everything their way. Working in any form of a service job, Karens are your worst nightmare.
Redditor u/externalodyssey wanted to hear from everybody about their Karen encounters by asking.... Managers of Reddit - what is a Karen experience like ? What was you worst experience ?
