Something You Never Realized About Steven Tyler. Wow, He's Awesome.

Maybe you know Steven Tyler as the lead singer of Aerosmith. Maybe you know him as the former judge on American Idol, or the "demon of screamin" or the multi-instrumentalist, or the on-stage acrobat. Maybe you know him as a fashion-icon of the rock world.

He takes the time to personally touch the lives of his fans.

His recent good doing for a fan will have you in tears. After one of his latest show, Tyler got word about a die-hard fan that wanted to attend one of his concerts, but didnt get tickets in time before it was sold out. Crushed, the boy just accepted defeat and assumed he wouldnt be able to attend. When Tyler got news of this incident, he couldnt help but make something happen.

Anthony, the heartbroken fan who happens to have been born with down syndrome, was at the grocery store with his mother, Diane, when all of a sudden Steven Tyler comes out of nowhere. As Diane recounts, she said that she heard her son screaming-

Oh my God! Steven Tyler, is that you?!

After realizing that it WAS indeed Aerosmiths front man, Anthony then went in for a huge hug. After that, Tyler asked if the two would be attending his show that evening in which Anthony and his mother sadly replied that they werent able to get tickets on time.

"Oh don't worry about that, you guys are coming with me! I'll get you backstage passes."

Youd think that would be all of the amazing surprises, but no there is more!!! Tyler personally invited Anthony up on stage with him to play the maracas during the song Sweet Emotion while yelling Anthonys in the house!!

Needless to say, Anthonys wildest dreams came true that night. Watch the amazing tear jerking moment below. The look on Anthonys face is the definition of pure joy.

Acts like this give me hope that fame doesnt always corrupt people. Steven, you are a true picture of love and kindness. Thank you for using your platform to do good.

Those of us who live in New York live this truth on a daily basis.

Sometimes, you just meet a person who isn't quite all there. It's hard to tell at first, but then you talk with them for a little while and it just becomes abundantly clear if they're two eggs short of an omelette.

The stories of how you find out are so interesting. But yet, they teach us to look for clues when we interact with others.
