Alec Guettel is a serial entrepreneur based in New York. He co-founded Axiom Law, the world’s leading alternative legal service provider, as well as Sungevity, Inc., a top residential solar brand in the U.S. and Europe. Alec has served as a Board director or advisor to a number of other growth companies. Alec attended the University of North Carolina as a Morehead Scholar and received his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Gretchen Bakhshai
Senior Vice President, Global Client Service & Support
Gretchen is Senior Vice President of Global Client Service & Support at Knowable. Gretchen previously served as Vice President of Life Sciences at Axiom where she led the National Life Science team in delivering record revenue growth. Prior to Axiom, she held a variety of commercial leadership and operational roles within the Life Sciences sector. Gretchen has an Industrial Engineering degree from Rutgers and an MBA in finance from St. Joseph’s Haub School of business.
Mark Harris
Chief Executive Officer
Mark Harris is the CEO of Knowable. Mark is one of the co-founders of Axiom and served as Axiom’s Executive Chairman from 2017-2019 and CEO from 2000-2016. Prior to founding Axiom, Mark practiced law at Davis Polk & Wardwell and clerked at the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. Mark is a University of Texas undergraduate and law school alumnus.
Meredith Crews
Senior Vice President, Finance
Meredith Crews is the Vice President of Finance for Knowable. Previously, Meredith was the Director of FP&A for Knowable, overseeing the company’s Managed Services offering P&L. Meredith attended the University of Puget Sound and holds a law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
Nik Reed
Senior Vice President, Product and Research & Development
Nicholas (Nik) Reed is the Senior Vice President of Product and Research & Development at Knowable. Nik was the Co-founder of Ravel Law, a start-up that transformed caselaw into analytics. LexisNexis acquired Ravel in 2017 and Nik became Vice President of Product Strategy developing solutions like Context at LexisNexis. Prior to Ravel, Nik worked in investment banking and strategy consulting. Nik is a Stanford undergraduate and law school alumnus.
Rick Teague
Senior Vice President of Innovation
Rick Teague is the Senior Vice President of Innovation for Knowable. Rick joined Axiom in 2009 and created the business that eventually became Knowable. Prior to joining Axiom, Rick was a Principle (Partner) at McKinsey & Company, a Senior Vice President at D&B, and the CEO of an analytics software boutique. Rick received his BA in Economics and Math and his MBA from the University of Michigan, both with highest honors.
