Nik Reed

Chief Executive Officer

Nicholas (Nik) Reed is the CEO and former Senior Vice President of Product and Research & Development of Knowable. Previously, Nik was the Co-founder of Ravel Law, a start-up that transformed caselaw into analytics. LexisNexis acquired Ravel in 2017, and Nik became Vice President of Product Strategy, developing solutions like Context at LexisNexis. Prior to Ravel, Nik worked in investment banking and strategy consulting. Nik is a Stanford undergraduate and law school alumnus.

Amy Thomas

Head of Client Experience

Amy Thomas serves as Head of Client Experience. Previously, Amy held various leadership roles at both Knowable and Axiom, including VP Global Legal Technology Managed Services and VP Customer Success. Prior to joining Axiom, Amy led Professional Services and Customer Solutions teams. Amy is responsible for client relationship management and the delivery of technology-enabled solutions that transform how organizations understand and manage their contracts. Amy is a Western Carolina Business School alumnus.

Dave Brewer

Head of Commercial

Dave Brewer is the Head of Commercial at Knowable. Dave joined Knowable following its spin-off from Axiom where he served as Sr. Manager of the Life Sciences Practice. Prior to Axiom, he held a variety of award-winning sales and leadership positions in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industry. Dave has a Business of Administration degree from Messiah University.

Matt Jaksa

Head of Operations

Matt Jaksa serves as the Head of Operations at Knowable. Previously, Matt held various leadership roles at both Knowable and Axiom, including leading global managed services teams to deliver innovative contract intelligence and contract management solutions. Prior to joining Axiom, Matt practiced law, focusing his practice on complex commercial litigation. He is licensed to practice in California and Illinois. Matt holds a JD from University of Oregon School of Law and a BA in English from University of Minnesota Duluth.

Mark Harris

Chairman

Mark Harris is Chairman of Knowable, one of its co-founders, and the former CEO. He is also one of the co-founders of Axiom and served as its Executive Chairman from 2017-2019 and CEO from 2000-2016. Prior to founding Axiom, Mark practiced law at Davis Polk & Wardwell and clerked at the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. Mark is a University of Texas undergraduate and law school alumnus.
